Welcome to the 31 Day Writers challenge!

Each year I participate in a writing challenge on write31days.com, where bloggers are encouraged to write for thirty-one days on a particular topic. I have done this for two years and this year I plan on participating once again. This year, my series is called "31 Days of spiritual Cultivation." In this series, I will explore the many verses where God compares our growth to that of some aspect of cultivating a garden. The verses I have chosen will contain some term associated with cultivation, including having fertile soil, bearing fruit, gardening, planting seeds and pulling the weeds that are affecting the seed of the word of God in your heart.
Every year I do this series, I learn so much about the Word of god and its application to our lives. If no one reads my posts, I am content to know I have at least grown in my knowledge of the word of God, and that "seed" has planted deep within my heart.
